7th BYEE program to support future environmental leaders in Korea

The 7th BYEE(Bayer Young Environmental Envoy) program, which is a well-known Bayer CSR program will be conducted to educate and support young environmental leaders in Korea.

The theme of 7th BYEE is “Invisible Nature” and any young people under the age of 24 can apply through the BYEE online community (http://cafe.naver.com/byeekorea) until July 4, 2010. Applicants will need to fill out the application form, in which they will need to describe their previous environmental activities and creative ideas for further action.

In cooperation with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) Bayer organizes and promotes “Bayer Young Environmental Envoy Program” since 1998 with aim to improve knowledge about the environment among young people and support them in their environmental commitment. Under this program, selected students from 18 countries go to Germany on a weeklong study tour to experience how environmental protection is practised by people, government and industry in one of the leading countries with regards to technology and environmental awareness. Bayer Korea has run the BYEE program since 2004 and 7th BYEE program will be launched in July 2010.
