Michał Przybycin, Poland, BYEE 2004
Michał Przybycin likes to remember 2004 – the year in which he participated in the BYEE Program. “Participation in this project was a very important stage on the path towards my career and allowed me to expand my horizons,” says Michał today.
“It was not only an interesting experience to participate in the workshops and to see modern laboratories, I also had the opportunity to meet people of the same age from all over the world who share the same interests as I do.”

Michał’s competition project focused on water management - a topic that still concerns him today. Shortly after the trip to Leverkusen, Michał was offered a job as Ecology Consultant in a large consulting company. Already one year later he decided to found his own environmental consultancy. His first major project dealt with the economics of water management – the topic of his prize-winning project. “Taking part in BYEE”, adds Michał gladly, “contributed to the creation of my consultancy: being a winner of the Bayer Young Environmental Envoy Program helps to assure my customers that the developed projects are of the highest international quality.” BYEE – a springboard to business success? Michał, for one, heartily encourages participation in the BYEE competition. In his opinion, it opens up great chances to young people at the threshold of their careers.
