Being a BYEE changed my personal, academic and professional life forever. Besides demonstrating that my own work was recognized, it gave me the chance to visit Germany and spend time with people from different cultures and different points of view, but that share the same dream: to build a better environment for our own and coming generations. |

As an innovative company, Bayer thinks much of education, research and science, which are important for sustainable development. With the extension of the BYEE program, more and more young people now realize that environmental protection and sustainable development have become the most important issue facing them. At the same time, envoys can use their own means to influence people and take action to change the world. Bayer’s support gives us a huge boost for our own future environmental protection endeavors. |

All human beings can join efforts to make this world a better place, no matter where we come from even if we are neither in the government or business leaders. |

The six days in Germany was a great experience. The sessions and field trips were interesting and educative. I was able to learn from the various expert presentations and field trips and take ideas back to my country. I was also impressed by Dr. Wolfgang Plischke's speech on inovation, technology and the enviroment and I have since managed to put into practice much of what I learned from his presentation. The program also provided a great forum for cultural exchange as participants were there from different countries. |

The field trip gave me fond memories which I do not want to forget for a long time. It is an honor to be Bayer Young Environmental Envoy and I see myself teaching young people about environmental conservation and telling stories of this field trip to Germany in the near future. I hope BYEE alumni will remain active so that we can all share our stories together with the past and future envoys all over the world. |

The field trip was a unique experience and I am very happy that I got a chance to interact with likeminded students from so many countries. The other envoys made many good suggestions that may have a bearing on our environment. I was very impressed with the projects initiated by my fellow students and wish to implement the same in India. |

The field trip really enlightened me about environmental protection. For example, instead of relying on the law forcing the society to protect the environment, the German people and private companies take their own initiatives to protect the environment. Germany is already very well known for its auto and aviation industry. During the trip, I was surprised to know that it is also a leader in environmental technologies such as incinerator, waste water treatment plant and recycling facilities. |

During ecological workshops taking place in Bayer business premises, I had the opportunity to listen to many very interesting lectures, as well as to make myself personally acquainted with principles and methods of modern environmental protection. During the visit to an incinerator and waste sorting facility I could see, with my own eyes, how modern technologies for environmental protection are being implemented by our western neighbors. This week-long visit also enabled me to get to know many interesting people from different parts of the world. It allowed us to exchange information about technologies for environmental protection applied in our countries. |

One of the best things about the BYEE program is the chance to meet people from all over the world. We had a lot of time to get to know each other and learn from each other's experiences, realizing that we had so much in common with the challenges and successes of our projects. |

Spending one week in Germany and visiting the global headquarters of the Bayer Group was a great opportunity for my education. Not only did I have the chance to learn about the environmental protection as practiced by the government and industry and how to improve environmental awareness in my country, I also got to meet young people from all over the world, and to discuss the environmental problems which we share in our own countries. |
